What is massage therapy?
Massage therapy is the manipulation of muscles and other soft tissues through physical methods including applying fixed or movable pressure, holding, or causing movement to the body. Therapists primarily use their hands for massage, but may also use their forearms, elbows, feet or tools. Massage therapy can be used to release stress and tension, provide pain relief, support healing or rehabilitation, and increase overall wellness.
