A Welcome Note from the Senior Director
As Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Senior Director for Library Services, it’s my pleasure to welcome you to the David D. Palmer Health Sciences Library website.
We’re proud of our commitment to lifelong learning and our ability to provide the highest quality chiropractic education resources and services for the chiropractic profession and the wider health care community. You’ll find a wealth of information and resources on our website in a user-friendly, and easy-to-find online environment.
My stellar library staff has years of experience working with our alumni, students, faculty, staff and others to help them find the information they need for chiropractic practice, patient management, research and other endeavors. Additionally, I bring to the profession years of teaching experience at college and university levels, curriculum development, research and a great passion for team building, leadership and management.
A lifelong learner myself, I hold a bachelor’s degree in jurisprudence, a master’s degree in interdisciplinary French studies, a master's in library and information science and am working towards a doctorate degree in information management from Syracuse University. My interests include understanding students’ needs and how technology is changing information access and retrieval, as well as designing physical and virtual environments that enhance learning and collaborating.
I hope you enjoy your online experience with the David D. Palmer Health Sciences Library. Feel free to share with me your experience by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I would love to hear from you and discuss opportunites in providing you with more assistance. I welcome and appreciate your feedback!
