What is Interlibrary Loan (ILL)?
Through its interlibrary loan service, current Palmer College students, faculty and staff in good standing can obtain items that are not owned by the David D. Palmer Health Sciences Library.
Before placing an interlibrary loan request, please search the library catalog and databases for the book or article you would like. If you need assistance with locating materials, feel free to ask at any Library service desk for help.
What is Document Delivery Service?
Document Delivery Service allows Palmer faculty, staff, and students to request copies of journal articles owned at any of the David D. Palmer Health Sciences Libraries.
A fee is assesed to help defray the costs of providing this service. A copyright fee, to be paid to the holder of the intellectual proprerty, may be required. This amount is determined by the rights holder.
For users not affiliated with Palmer College, a similar fee-based service is available. Patrons must register for document delivery service before placing requests.
Request are usually processed within 24-48 hours of receipt, not including weekends and holidays. Requests from the microform collection may take longer to process.
