    ICL Index to Chiropractic Literature

    Index to Chiropractic Literature (ICL) is the only exclusively chiropractic journal literature index free on the Web. The database currently covers 1985-present chiropractic journal literature. It includes several web pages linking free chiropractic research articles, electronic books and patient education handouts.     Official Disability Guidelines (ODG) provides independent, evidence-based medical treatment guidelines for conditions commonly associated with the workplace. ODG Treatment is unique and effective because, within the Procedure Summary, each recommendation is electronically linked directly to abstracts of the medical evidence.

    Turning Research into Practice (TRIP) is a clinical search engine designed to allow users to quickly and easily find and use high-quality research evidence to support their practice and/or care. Trip has been online since 1997 and in that time has developed into a great source of evidence-based content. As well as research evidence the database allows clinicians to search across other content types including images, videos, patient information leaflets, educational courses and news.

    PEDro is a free database of over 27,000 randomised trials, systematic reviews and clinical practice guidelines in physiotherapy. It has free access to a bibliographic index for osteopathic literature from the 1800s-current.

    PsycARTICLES is a database of full-text articles from journals published by the American Psychological Association, the APA Educational Publishing Foundation, the Canadian Psychological Association, and Hogrefe & Huber. Subjects indexed include applied psychology, communication systems,developmental psychology, educational psychology, experimental human and animal psychology, personality, psychological and physical disorders, physiological psychology and neuroscience, professional personnel and issues, and psychometrics and statistics. The database includes 111 full-text publications, most of which give access to volume 1, number 1 of the journal.

    ProQuest Psychology Journals provides abstracts and indexing for more than 640 titles, with over 540 titles available with full text access. Coverage ranges from behavioral, clinical, cognitive, developmental, experimental, industrial and social psychology, along with personality, psychobiology and psychometrics. The Education Resource Information Center (ERIC), by EBSCOHost, provides access to education literature and resources.

    ScienceDirect is a leading STM database offering indexing to Elsevier publishing company journal articles and book chapters from more than 2,500 peer-reviewed journals and more than 11,000 books. Palmer College of Chiropractic Libraries currently has access to 59 of the journal titles. A green tablet beside the article indicates access is available for the library.

    SpringerLink is an integrated full-text database for journals, books, protocols, eReferences, and book series published by Springer. Springer is a prominent international scientific publishing company. Palmer College of Chiropractic Libraries currently has access to 1750 SpringerLink journals. On the search page, if you want to see only content available to Palmer, uncheck the yellow "include preview only content" box and only the the content available through Palmer will display.

    Ulrichsweb is a bibliographic database providing detailed, comprehensive, and authoritative information on serials published throughout the world. Information about whether the journal is peer-reviewed is included under the journal title.

    Wiley Online Library features over 1,500 journals, many major reference works, and online books. Palmer Health Sciences Library’s access includes access to approximately 1250 Wiley and Wiley/Blackwell journal titles, mostly accessible from 1996 to the present. All Wiley Online Library journal titles in our contract are also listed in the A to Z ejournals list.
